For many years polyurethane and polyether foam materials have proven to be the most reliable materials in decubitus prevention and therapy. Due to the selection of high-quality materials and the special cube-shape cuts, they precisely conform to the body, creating an even pressure distribution.
Today’s most innovative foam product offers a combination of visco-elastic and elatex foam materials as featured in our elatex visco mattress. It has the unique ability to reduce its compression rigidity once exposed to warmth. As a result the patient basically sinks into the top layer.
Our foam products are delivered in a compressed state, dramatically reducing freight and storage cost. All foam systems are manufactured in modern production facilities without the use of CFCs. They carry the environmental label meeting “Öko-Tex Standard 100.”
