The APM bari alternating pressure system is suited for the treatment of heavyweight patients with pressure ulcers up to grade IV (according to EPUAP).
Due to the special construction of the mattress, patients weighing up to 280 kg can be positioned. The control unit is equipped with the same functions as the successful APM 440 system. Two high-quality full-metal compressors ensure a secure and long-lasting operation. The control unit is equipped with a digital sensor control, which regulates the inner pressure of the mattress, creating a perfect surface pressure. The lock-off function ensures a smooth and noiseless operation between the time cycles. Additional functions such as care mode, 3 separate time cycles, static mode and an automatic key pad lock complete the fields of application and guarantee a quick and easy operation.
The mattress with approx. 120 cm standard width is equipped with 18 nylon/polyurethane cells and specially designed holding straps to safely keep them in place. Each cell is equipped with a CPC quick coupling, permitting an ultra-fast cell exchange/cell removal to freely position the patient within seconds. The holding straps of the cells feature an extremely
rugged construction
